How to reactivate a user

Learn how reactivating a user takes their previous account and ensures that they have access to content in your organisation

▶️ Go to Users & Groups and find the user in the Deactivated Users List.
Select Reactivate from the 3-dot menu.
Confirm the reactivation message to complete the steps.

The user will be sent an org re-started invitation email and can be found in the Current Users List.


Note: When a user is reactivated in the organisation, the following conditions will apply

  • The user will gain access to any resource collections that have been shared with the organisation
  • The user will be visible in the enrol existing users list and therefore can be enrolled in any Series
  • The user will be visible from group membership lists and therefore can be added to a group
  • The user will not be reinstated to any previous group memberships
  • The user will not be reinstated to any previous console access (e.g. Admin or Team Manager access)
