Can I track learner progress through a Learning Pathway using the console?

Learner progress through a Learning Pathway can be tracked from a number of different parts of the pathway overview in the console from the Pathway menu.

Using the Pathway Progress % value

A simple way to track a learner's progression through the pathway is to monitor the pathway progress % which is shown in the In Progress Enrolments List.

The list shows the percentage that the learner has progressed through the pathway which is based on the total number of attempts required to master all questions in all series in the pathway.

Example

As an example, if the pathway has 5 series, each with 5 questions and all have a mastery goal of 2, then there would be a total of 50 correct attempts required to complete the pathway.

Total attempts = Series 1 (Questions x Mastery Goal) + Series 2 (Questions x Mastery Goal) etc

The progress percentages for each series are shown in the example below.

As the learners correctly answers each attempt the progress percentage value will increase and the value can determine where the user is within the pathway and series.

Using the Pathway Progression Details

A more visual way to track a learner's progression through the pathway is to view the pathway progression details.

This view visualises each series in the pathway and shows those that the learner has mastered, those that are active-no attempts and active-in progress and those that are pending.

Progression details will also visualise the approximate percentage through the active series using a simple pie chart indicator as shown below.
