Understanding how long it takes to master a series is important when setting enrolment duration and analysing learner progress

It is difficult to determine exactly how long it will take to master a series, as every learner will take a different path, depending on if they get answers correct or incorrect. The one thing that can be determined is what is the minimum time it can take to master a series based on the following things:

  • The number of questions in the Series
  • The mastery level
  • The questions per day
  • Presumption that the learner has set zero days off

The following tables show the minimum mastery times in days (blue) and weeks (orange) for 8,12 and 16 Question Series, with each of the possible Mastery and Ideal Questions per day (QPD) values.
