Understanding when learners get notifications for an enrolment

It is critical to know when learners get notified throughout a Series enrolment as this is a common question asked by learners. There are some predictable timeframes at the beginning of a enrolment but once the learner has started to answer questions, the spaced repetition learning takes over and timeframes are dependant on:

• when and how the learner answers the questions
• and what app settings they might have made on their device.

• Some notifications depend on which invite method has been used; Send to Learner or Send to Admin
• Learners will only get New Question Available Notifications after they attempt their first question and then only after attempting each question thereafter. If they stop on a question then they won't get any further reminders
• Push notifications must be manually enabled by the learner on iPhones
• Practise Reminders are only available via Push Notifications so if the learner turns off Push Notifications then they won't get practise reminders
