What are Fillers?

Fillers are used with Forget Me Not® Freestanding to help with engagement and build a daily learning habit. They are also designed to capture feedback to help determine suitability and usefulness in the workday.

To do this, Forget Me Not® has created a number of different types of fillers.

  • Type-1 Interactive tutorial and practice exercises
  • Type-2 Reflection and rating
  • Type-3 Edutainment

Type-1 Interactive tutorial and practice exercises

These fillers are self-directed, interactive mini tutorials followed by a structured practice activity.

Some examples of type-1 fillers can be:

  • Techniques for maintaining eye contact
  • Vocal drills
  • Body language awareness
  • Active listening

Type-2 Reflect and rate

These fillers are structured reflection type activity which encourages learners to determine the level of personal relevance as a commitment rating.

Some examples of type-2 fillers can be:

  • Deep breathing exercises
  • Stretching routines
  • Hydration reminders
  • Mindfulness meditation

Type-3 Edutainment

These fillers are intended to promote user engagement in a fun or enjoyable way.

Some examples of type-3 fillers can be:

  • Did you know fun facts
  • Myth or truth
  • Traditional sayings that are actually true
  • Odd one out
