What is the difference between Correct, Partially Correct and Incorrect attempts

Understand the difference between a Correct attempt, a Partially Correct attempt and an Incorrect attempt when viewing the Question Metrics Insights Report

When viewing the Insights - Question Metrics report you may see different attempt values listed as either:

  • Correct
  • Partially Correct
  • Incorrect

The attempts shown are determined by the choices submitted by the learner and are defined as follows:

Type

Simple Questions

(single best answer questions)

Advanced Questions

(multiple correct answer questions)

Correct the correct answer has been selected all correct answers have been selected
Partially Correct Not Applicable some correct answer have been selected and some incorrect answers have been selected
Incorrect an incorrect answer has been selected all incorrect answers have been selected
