Why are learners enrolled in multiple series at the same time with an Interleaved Learning Pathway?

Learn how Interleaved Learning Pathways can have concurrent series enrolments which means learners can be active in multiple series at the same time

An Interleaved Learning Pathway, can be configured to allow learners to be enrolled in series within multiple pathway modules at the same time. This allows for faster progression through the pathway which may be required in some pathway situations.

Different concurrent enrolment values can change the delivery of a learning pathway. Where the basic rule is that 'all series in a module must be completed before starting the next module'. Where concurrent enrolments is >1, then a series in the next module can also be active at the same time.

The table shows the typical enrolment order with different values of Concurrent Enrolments.

⚠️ Actual enrolment order of the 2nd and subsequent enrolments for concurrent enrolments >1 will depend on the order in which Series are mastered by the learner

For example Series 5 may be released before Series 2 if Series 4 was mastered before Series 1
