Learn how to set browser notifications when you use a shared computer when notifications may have be disabled by another user
Forget Me Not is available via a web browser using Learner Web which means it can be used on shared computers. When the computer is shared, another user may have already disabled browser notifications and this will impact all other users of the shared computer.
The Learner Web can only prompt once for browser notification permissions, and if that is rejected by a user, then that will set up notification permissions for all future users.
If the user rejected the notifications, then all future users are never asked again to enable.
Any subsequent user signing in on the same browser, even though in a new session, will never be prompted to get notifications as this is part of browser security/spam protection mechanisms.
This means you might not be getting any notifications through the browser.
⚠️Learner Web access via a computer needs to be enabled for your organisation. Please contact FMN support if you believe you should have learner Web access.
