      Why is my work or social login not working?

      Learn why your work or social login might not be working when used to sign in to Forget Me Not®.

      Forget Me Not® provides the ability to login using work or social accounts to make signing in easier, however there are some conditions that can prevent it from working.

      ⚠️Some social account logins may not be supported on all devices or may be restricted by your organisation

       

      Reason Resolution Notes

      You are trying to sign in and get an error "We couldn't find your account".

      This means your work or social account is not using the same email as your registered Forget Me Not account.

      Refer to Rules relating to work or social login below
      • Ask your administrator to update your Forget Me Not account to match your work or social account email
      • Select Add another account at the social login options and use a matching account
      		 Email is used for the main notifications and so ensure you have access to this email account on your preferred device.
      You are trying to sign in with a different work or social account that was previously linked Once your work or social account is linked, always ensure you sign-in with the same account  Even if you other work or social account uses the same email as the linked account it will not sign you in.
      You don't have an existing  account registered with Forget Me Not Contact your administrator to check if you have an account setup

      Only registered users can access Forget Me Not and your organisation will need to create an account for you.

      Rules relating to work or social login

      Your work or social account must be using the same email as registered for your Forget Me Not® account to be able to use them for login. If they don't match, then you can only login with email and password.

      Example scenarios are shown and are based on the email matching rules, an indication if the social login will work ☑️ or won't work ⛔ is provided.

      ☑️ Scenarios where Social Logins will work

      Google Account matches the Forget Me Not® registered email

      For example

      • john.citizen@gmail.com is used for Forget Me Not® and Google accounts
      • john.citizen@acme.com is used for Forget Me Not® and Google accounts

      Apple ID matches the Forget Me Not® registered email

      For example

      • oliver.turner@apple.com is used for Forget Me Not® and Apple ID accounts
      • oliver.turner@acme.com is used for Forget Me Not® and Apple ID accounts

      Microsoft Account matches the Forget Me Not® registered email

      For example oliver.turner@acme.com is used for Forget Me Not® and Microsoft accounts
