About Question Set Version Rules

Understand the versioning rules when a question set is republished and how this impacts current Series enrolments

When a Question set is published it converts from a draft version (minor) to a published version (major) and this is indicated by the status shown in the Question Studio list. Although there are no visible version numbers, there are major and minor versions being created in the background.

Only published versions of a Question set can be used to Create a New Series and once they have been linked, any updates republished to the Question Set will automatically be applied to all linked Series.

What happens when a Question Set is republished?

  • The updates will be visible in the Question Previewer when selected from the Series Library
  • Any learner currently enrolled in a linked Series will not see the updates for the current enrolment
  • Any new enrolments processed in a linked Series after being republish will see the updates in the App


✅ If a learner is in a current enrolment and is required to see the updates then the current enrolment must be withdrawn and a new Series enrolment processed
