How to update a published question set

Learn how to update an existing published question set and how to publish the changes to all connected Series

Once a Question Set is published it can be used to Create a Series. Any number of Series can be created from the same Question Set and if updates are required, there are a few steps needed to make the changes and then apply them to any Series that are using the Question Set.

Editing a published Question Set

  1. Go to the Question Studio and select a published Question Set from the list.
  2. The Question Set is opened in Read-Only mode.
  3. Select Edit to open in Edit Mode.
  4. Navigate to the relevant section and make the necessary changes which can include:
    1. Updates to the Question Set Details & Learning Objectives
    2. Updates to the Questions e.g. Overview, Title, Stem, Answers, Correct & Incorrect Feedback
    3. Updates to Media Content Blocks
    4. Updates to attached Learning Resources
  5. Once all changes have been made, ensure all validation indicators are displaying green ticks and select Save Question Set.
  6. Understand the Question Set Version Rules before proceeding.
  7. Select Publish to apply the changes to all connected Series.

✅ If you need to make changes to the Series title, subtile, cover image etc then head over to the Series Library and use the Edit Series function.
