How to delete a group

Learn when deleting groups, caution must be applied before deleting to check how all things related to the group may be affected

Before a group is deleted, the following things must be considered

  • All existing memberships will be removed from the group (users and groups)
  • Any associations to a Resource Collection will be removed (thereby losing access to any resources in the collection)

Deleting a Group

  1. Go to Users & Groups.
  2. Select Groups.
  3. Select a group from the list, to view Group Details.
  4. Go to the 3-dot menu and select Delete Group.
  5. Review the warning message before continuing, then select Delete Group.

⚠️ Deleted groups cannot be restored so take caution when deleting a group
