How to override a pathway's original configuration with burst mode?

Learn how the original configuration of a pathway can be overridden by burst mode at the time the enrolment is created

When a learning pathway is created the original configuration is set and this can only be changed by contacting support as there is no ability to edit this using the console.

The original configuration can be where all series are using the standard enrolment mode or where the pathway has a combination of standard and burst modes for different series.

Sometimes it might be necessary to override the original configuration to have all series use burst mode.

This can be done only at the time the pathway enrolment is created and requires that the Enrol Type is changed to Override as Burst from the Original Configuration.

  1. Go to Pathways.
  2. Select the Pathway.
  3. Choose Enrol User to Pathway.
  4. Select relevant users to enrol and then choose Continue.
  5. Change the Enrol Type to Override as Burst for each user that you want to use the burst mode.
  6. Select Enrol to Pathway to process the enrolments.
