How to update user account details
User account details are saved when a new learner is created such as names, email addresses, and other settings which can be updated at any time
User details can be updated from the User List as follows;
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email address*
- Other^
If a learner's account needs updating for either the first name, last name, or email address, then this can be done using the console.
Other functions can also be applied when in the edit screen as follows:

The best way to update a user's name or email is to edit the details from the Users List
- Open the console and log in.
- Go to Users & Groups, then select Users.
- Search for the user and then select Edit User from the 3-dot menu.
- Select Edit, then make changes to First Name, Last Name and /or Email address and other information as required.
- Select Save to continue or Cancel to remove the changes.
- Select Close to return to the User List.
⚠️ Changes made to a learners' email address will be used for all future communications so ensure the user invite status is Current before making changes.
