What are the different states used in authoring process?

Learn how the different states of a question set draft change during the authoring process and what happens when published

During the lifecycle of a question set draft, there are a number of different states that indicate the status of the draft and when it is ready to be or has been published.

The Question Set has the following status values:

  • Incomplete Draft
  • Ready to Publish
  • Published
  • Archived

These Question states also align with the menu actions and provide the ability to publish the set as shown in the diagram.

✅ To change the status Incomplete Draft to Ready to Publish, all parts of the question must be completed with the minimum characters and content blocks must be filled with relevant media in order to display all ticks.

✅ To change the status from Archived to Incomplete Draft, find the sert from the Archived view and simply Edit the set.
