What are different authoring states of a Question Set?

Learn about the different Question Sets states used during the authoring process

The following table shows the different states of a Question Set that can be seen during the authoring process and describes the details of each.

Question Set State Description
  • Incomplete Draft

The Question Set is currently in draft and not published. It is being edited and does not have all of the required parts completed. This is typical for a brand new set.

  • Incomplete parts are indicated by a grey circle in the editor
  • To be ready to publish, all indicators must be ticked
  • Question Sets in this state can't be made into a Series yet
  • Ready to Publish

The Question Set is currently in draft and is ready to be published. It has all of the required parts completed and is ready to be published.

  • Completed parts are indicated by a tick in the editor
  • This set can be published when ready, and any changes will be automatically applied to any linked series
  • Published

The Question Set is published and is available to be created into a Series.

  • Any changes made to this set will set the status to draft.
  • Archived

The Question Set has been archived and is not usable or editable
