What happens when a resource is archived?

Learn what happens when a resource in the library is archived

Resources in the Resource Library can be linked to Resources Collections and / or Question Sets and these will be impacted if the resource is archived.

Archiving a resource will do the following:

  • Remove the resource item from the Resource Library
  • Users who previously had access to the resource via a Resource Collection or Question Set will no longer be able to see the resource in the mobile app or Learner Web

⚠️Once a resource is archived it can no longer be recovered, so use archive with caution

✅ It's a good idea to make sure that the resource is not linked to any Resource Collections or Question Sets before archiving. To do this resources must be unlinked from a Question Set and removed from any resource collections.

⚠️ It is highly recommended to only archive a resource once all links have been removed and the resource description has been update to indicate it will be archived on a date 12 months from today to ensure user are aware of the pending archive
