Series Preview options for SMEs and Content Approvers

Learn the different ways SMEs and content approvers can preview questions

Whether authoring your own content using the Question Builder, or purchasing existing question sets directly from the Forget Me Not gallery, it's important to give Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and content approvers preview access to the questions, prior to releasing to a wider audience, to ensure the content is fit-for-purpose and ready to go.

Previewing the content can include reviewing and checking any of the following aspects of question content.

  • Question stems and prompt scenarios
  • Question answers
  • Question feedback
  • Media content used such as images, videos, links, audio and documents
  • Resources

Typical Preview Stages

Preview can be done at one or both of these release stages depending on the ownership rights to the content.

  • Question Sets - Content review done prior to publishing when authoring using the Question Builder
  • Question Series - Content review done for new content that is published into the Series Library

Forget Me Not provides a few different options in order to give preview access to SMEs and content approvers as follows.

Previewing a Question Set

Previewing a Question set can only be done using the console. This option allows for unlimited viewing of the content in a simulated phone viewport using the Question Builder Previewer, where you can easily check over the content, media and resources without the need to wait for questions. Changes can be made if using the Edit Mode and live changes viewed in the Question Builder Previewer.

⚠️The reviewer user must have console admin access in order to do this.

Previewing a Question Series

Previewing a Question Series in the Series Library can be done using two different methods:

Preview Enrolments

With Series enrolment in preview mode, the app / learner web is used to review content. This option allows for 7 days limited viewing of the content in a real phone / website to check over the content, media and resources without the need to wait for questions.

✅The reviewer user will only require a learner account in order to do this.

Series Previewer

The console option allows for unlimited viewing of the content in a simulated phone viewport using the Question Series Previewer, which can easily check over the content, media and resources without the need to wait for questions.
