Getting Started as a Content Author

Learn the main steps to get started when authoring question content using the Question Builder

As a content author there are a number of steps that need to be completed in order to be able to publish a question draft and to then create a series which will appear in the Series Library ready for enrolments.

  1. Prerequisites - Find out what's needed to author question as this makes the process a little smoother. Understand the structure of a Simple Question Set and an Advanced Question Set. Check out the features of the Question Builder
  2. Create the Question Draft - Go through the steps on how to create a new Question Set.
  3. Self Review the Questions - Use the in-built Question Builder Previewer to live preview your questions as you edit them.
  4. Have others approve the questions - Allow other admin users to review and edit the questions directly using the question builder. 
  5. Publish the Question Set - Go through the steps on publishing a draft Question Set.

  6. Create the New Series - Go through the steps on creating a new series.

  7. Preview the Series - Learn how to enrol your subject matter experts to preview the series before releasing to a wider audience to get feedback.
  8. Update the Question Set (if required) - Go through the steps on making edits to a published question set and understanding question set version rules when republished.
  9. Update the Series (if required) - Go through the steps on updating a series before releasing to a wider audience.
